Hello everyone. I wanted to ask a question about Chapter 7 BK. If anyone knows the answer to this question, I would greatly appreciate it. Well, I am filing for Chapter 7 BK, and I just recently filed my taxes( after I filed an extension). My attorney told me that if I file right now, then I would have to surrender my tax refund($5000) to the trustees. However, If I wait till I receive the tax refund and then spend it, then file for Chapter 7 BK, that I would no longer be liable to hand over my tax refund because I got it before I filed for BK. I know that I should trust him because he is the BK attorney, but it just sounds kind of weird. The last thing I want to happen is that I spend the tax refund and the judge tell me that I have to give the tax refund to the trustee. If anyone has knowledge on this topic, can you let me know? I recently checked my credit scores and this is what came up… Transunion: 503 Equifax: 459 Experian: 574 I have noticed numerous errors in all 3 reports but didn’t think it was worth my time to fix… I’m beginning to think I was wrong. Query regarding Interest adding in Car loan account (other than EMI)?
I took loan of 210,000 INR from a bank for my Car . Interest rate used was 10.45% and loan period is 60 months . Based on interest rate my EMI came to be 4,509 INR/month . But now when i check my loan account statement online then it shows that every month 1 interest amount is added into my loan account . Mostly this amount is around 1800 INR/month . I inquired this to my bank and they told that this is C.Y.YTD interest and it will be added every month based on reducing balance amount . Below are my questions : 1. Does it mean that every month i have to pay extra interest because as per my understanding my EMI of 4,509 already has 10.45% interest 2. Since i have taken a loan of 210,000 so based on 10.45% rate my total payment to bank in 60 months should be 268,176 . But if this interest keep on adding then my total payment will be over 350,000 to bank Please let me know answer on above query ."

My atty has written them advising that they are in violation of bk code, we haven’t heard back. 2) We tried a short sale but the 1st mortgage holder would only allow $2000 for the 2nd and the 2nd refused. The buyer even increased their offer but neither would budge. The offer was for a bit more than the 1st’s principle."
